Hi Alina,
I really have no idea of what to write here. Although you say I am good at talking to people and some kind of an extravert, I also have my moments of shyness. This feels like it is one of them but here we go.
I wasn’t looking for anybody. I was doing a perfectly decent job of minding my own business. Then you came from a place I have never heard and probably would never hear about it if it was not for you.
I fell in love with you and suddenly being the same old me wasn’t good enough. I wanted to listen better, love better and be someone you could count on. I still do.
God, you drive me crazy sometimes. We fight, more than I like to, and I wonder what the hell we’re doing. Then we’re laughing again, happier than anyone has any business being, and there’s nobody I’d rather be an idiot with.
These last two weeks away from you made one thing painfully obvious: I love you more than I’d let myself admit. It scares me, having this much to lose and giving up the control. It feels like I have given my heart to your hands and somehow trust that instead of squeezing it, you will nurture it and make it a better place.
It is still really exciting and fun to be with you. I am not able to stop thinking about all the days we could still have together, places we can visit and all the times that I can ragebait you.
Note: Keep scrolling after you finish the letter.
